Water Resistant Glossary

30 Metres - This means that the watch is suitable for everyday use. It will withstand accidental splashing and showering but is not suitable for swimming.

50 Metres - This means that the watch is suitable for everyday use and is also suitable for swimming, it is not suitable for pool side diving, snorkelling or water sports.

100 Metres - This watch would be suitable for everyday use including swimming and snorkelling but not high board diving or sub-aqua diving.

200 Metres - This is suitable for all high impact water sports and scuba diving at all depths which don’t require helium gas. At these depths however it is recommended that a professional divers watch be purchased.
