Danica Patrick – She’s got the Touch


The GQ Design Group has produced a four-page advertorial for Tissot Swiss Watches, featuring Tissot Ambassador Danica Patrick, for GQ’s 2009 September issue. The advertorial, photographed exclusively by James White – features Tissot’s: T-Touch Expert, Sea-Touch, T-Race/ Danica Patrick 2009 Limited Edition, PRC200, and Generosi-T.


The magazine's four-page advertorial spread of Danica, titled "She's Got the Touch," shows our racing star in everything from a swimsuit to business wear to evening dress, displaying our watches and Danica's stylish side all the while.
Currently competing in the IndyCar Series, Patrick became the first woman to win an Indy car race. Patrick placed 3rd in the 2009 Indianapolis 500, which was both a personal high for her at the track and the highest finish by a woman in the event's history.
"When I am not on the track, one of my biggest interests is fashion and style," says Patrick - on her dream of becoming a fashion designer with her own lines of clothing, bags, shoes and maybe watches.
Patrick's feminine beauty turns heads around the world and has earned her features throughout the press that illustrate her competitive temperament on the racing circuit, as well as her unique style and taste in watches. Before becoming an ambassador for the brand, Patrick bought her first Tissot watch when she was sixteen years old - her particular favorite, the Tissot T-Touch - the only Touch Screen watch made, from the Touch Collection.
